You should seek support from a specialist Speech and Language Therapist. This support we will receive will be in the form of follow-up sessions to support family education-based receptive and expressive language skills until the age of 3. For Speech and Language Therapy, the individual must have acquired certain skills (such as listening, responding, and follow-up for a certain period of time).
Another benefit of getting support from a Speech Therapist is that the therapist will direct the family to the necessary health units to identify the causes of language delay. In this way, it will enable the individual to benefit from early diagnosis and (re)-habilitation (improvement) opportunities in the shortest time possible for problems such as Hearing Loss, Delay in Auditory Processing, Developmental Disorders, Autism, MR (Mental Retardation-Intellectual Retardation).
